Hello and happy National Month of Brotherhood! I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits as we enter the final stretch of the academic year. Whether your campus is already buzzing with end-of-year celebrations or you’re gearing up for finals and senior send-offs, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU!
Thank you for the countless hours you’ve dedicated to your chapter, your band, and to our Brotherhood. Your leadership, your heart, and your steady presence throughout this year have made a lasting difference. Kappa Kappa Psi is stronger because of you. I am continually inspired by your work, and I hope you’re proud of everything you’ve helped your chapter accomplish.
As we close out the year, I’m reaching out with a few important reminders and deadlines to help set your chapter up for success moving forward:
1. Chapter Officer Transition Weekend
Our National Committee on Chapter Operations is hosting two virtual sessions designed to support your chapter’s officer transition process. You are welcome to attend either or both!

- Sunday, April 27 | 12:00–2:00pm CT | REGISTER HERE
2. Student Keynote Speaker & Parliamentarian Applications
Looking for a way to get involved at National Convention? These roles are fantastic opportunities to contribute to our summer gathering in Lexington, KY. Applications for both are due by the end of April 30, 2025.
3. National Convention Delegate & Proxy Form
Due by June 1 (no later than June 15, 2025)
This form is REQUIRED of all chapters—whether you’re attending or not—to ensure you’re properly represented.
4. Officer & Chapter Update Form
If your elections are complete, don’t forget to update your officers in OPUS, so that the new officers can get the correct levels of access. This is REQUIRED for all chapters, and is due as soon as possible after elections. Be sure to allow time for your Chapter Sponsor and Director of Bands to sign. 5. Graduating Senior Report
Please start this report early to ensure it’s submitted before graduation. This helps us accurately transition those members to Alumni Status, and ensures that they won’t be counted in your total dues next semester. Again, please give your Sponsor and DOB enough time to sign in OPUS. We encourage chapters to submit this report within 30 days of graduation, but it is helpful to submit even before Brothers leave campus. For assistance, email kkytbs@kkytbs.org.
6. Spring Activity Report
This REQUIRED report gives a comprehensive summary of your chapter’s activities from this semester. It is a bit more in-depth and may require input from your officers, Sponsor, or others, so we strongly encourage you to start early. These are due to NHQ by June 1, so please factor in additional time for your Sponsor and DOB to review and approve the form. For assistance, email kkytbs@kkytbs.org.

Brothers, we are officially under 100 days from National Convention and the end of the biennium. While that may seem far away, the best preparation starts now. Please set aside time to complete these tasks—and as always, we are here to support you, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Keep on striving!
