Kappa Kappa Psi
Local Alumni Associations
Local alumni associations are intended to provide a way for alumni to participate in activities at a local level. LAAs may be formed at the chapter level, providing service to local chapters and college band programs, or they may be formed based on a geographic region, serving to unite alumni members from various college band programs in common activities and events. Additionally, some local area associations are jointly affiliated with Tau Beta Sigma and draw their membership from both organizations.

Interested in creating a new LAA?
(Note: all local alumni associations that existed prior to July 1, 2007 will need to complete
this process.)
Those interested in creating a new LAA should assemble a group of alumni, life, and honorary members and complete the required application found below. There are only a few minimum requirements for creating an LAA, and they are outlined in the application document. Local Alumni Association Annual Report
Officially recognized LAAs are required to submit the annual report found below by June 1st each year to remain in good standing. The annual report includes an activity report, updated officer and personnel report, and Chapter Sponsor support for all chapter affiliated groups. Additionally, please note that joint LAAs are also required to submit an annual report to Tau Beta Sigma (more information can be found on the TBSAA Website).
