Concerto Competiton Applications Due Soon!

Brothers and Sisters,
Just a brief reminder that April 19 is the postmark deadline for all Concerto Competition materials. For the application just go to the national convention website and download it here.
The Concerto Competition is new this year and is open to any active, associate, condition, or prospective brother or sister. Prepare a 6 to 10 minute solo piece which you will perform for a panel of judges at the National Convention in July. If the piece has piano accompaniment, the piano music is due with your application. The winner will earn a $500 scholarship!

NIB Audition Materials Due

Description: If you would like to be a member of the 2011 NIB you should first check your schedule to see if you are able to be in Colorado Springs between July 17-19, 2011. Registration will be at noon on Sunday, July 17 followed by chair placement auditions. Complimentary housing will be provided on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings, July 17, 18, and 19, 2011. Meals and transportation to and from Colorado Springs are not included.
You should begin now to prepare for your recorded audition. CDs are due to the National Headquarters in Stillwater, Oklahoma by, April 19, 2009 (postmarked). The selection process will be completed by mid-May and you will be notified soon thereafter.

It is the time of year again when we think about honoring and awarding those brothers who have truly lived up to our teachings. Information about awards can be found on the new web site at www.kkpsi.org/fraternityawards.asp. Certain awards have a deadline of January 1 to be considered for this upcoming year.
Many of these applications require signatures of Directors and sponsors, so plan ahead and get those signatures before those people leave town for Winter break! Remember, all information can be found at www.kkpsi.org/fraternityawards.asp!
