1. Tau Beta Sigma Welcomes Eta
Iota at Delaware
State University
into the Sisterhood.

The Eta Iota chapter at Delaware State University was installed on November
16, 2003,
by Cathy Miles, Northeast istrict Counselor. Northeast
District President, Kianna Marzett,
and Northeast District Vice President for Membership, Kortney
Clark, were there to assist with the ceremony and partake in the
festivities. Mr. Alfred L. Davis, Jr., is the Director of
Bands and Sponsor and is already an Honorary
member of Tau Beta Sigma. New Honorary members
are Mr. Tory Franklin Smart, Assistant Director of Bands
and Jennifer Thompson.
A very special thanks to all who helped to support this
colony throughout the months and to the Epsilon Omega chapter at Morgan State University for their role as the advising chapter. A special thank you to Saidah Johnson
from Epsilon Omega for providing pictures. The members of the Eta Iota Chapter of Tau Beta
Sigma are Kadian Omelia
Chephas, Ayeola Nakia Coleman, Yvonne Antionette Lomax, Ticoya Beatrice Mullen
(President), Tamara Amour Reaves, and Recheinda
Jo Scott.
Of special note was
the overwhelming love and support shown to these new sisters by their fellow
band members of the Delaware State University, including the Brothers of the Eta
Psi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at Delaware State University.

2. Kappa Kappa Psi Installs New Chapter at
Fort Valley State University

I am pleased to
announce the installation of the Lambda Zeta Chapter at Fort Valley State University in Ft. Valley, Georgia. Six new brothers and two honoraries were
initiated. The colony completed the process in record time. Our
thanks and congratulations to the Kappa Mu Chapter at
the University of Georgia for serving as advising chapter and to Melanie
Muldrow, former SED President for serving as advising person. They did an
outstanding job.
Approximately 50 people attended the installation ceremony, including
the entire district council and brothers from Zeta Phi at Tuskegee, Delta Iota at FAMU, Eta
Kappa of Albany State, and Zeta Chi at USC. Special guests included
Dr. Cinthia Sellers, VP of Student Affairs, and the
TBS colony at Ft. Valley State. Congratulatory notes may be sent to:
