1. Kappa
Kappa Psi welcomes Lambda
Epsilon into the Brotherhood.
by Danny George, Southwest District
Governor
The Lambda Epsilon chapter at Ouachita Baptist University was installed
on October 26, 2003 by Danny George, Southwest District Governor.
Southwest District President Dusty Brown and the brothers of the Theta
Phi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi
were there to witness and partake in the festivities. Honorary members
are Dr. Craig Hamilton, Director of Bands and Mr. Robert Hesse,
Director of Athletic Bands and chapter sponsor.
A very special thanks to all who helped to
support this colony throughout the years and to the Theta Phi chapter at Henderson
State University
for their role as the advising chapter. Charter members are Grant
Stephen Meacham, Kevin Matthew Pierce and James Michael Ramsey Reed.
These brothers are "on fire" for the organization and the OBU
band program. They are currently preparing for their first membership
candidate class.
Please send your congratulations to Lambda Epsilon at the following

2. Officer
Change Form is now Chapter Information Change Form on National Website
by Mike McMurtrey, National
Publications Manager, National Headquarters
Please note that the old "Officer Change Form' on the
National Headquarters web site is now the "Chapter Information Change
Form." This form should be used to report not only any new chapter
officers, but also all changes, if any, of your sponsor, director of
bands, and any contact information (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses).
This information should be reported to the National Headquarters as soon as
possible following any changes.
We have also added a "please check if new" box to all sections of the
form. Please check this box if it applies to the information in this section,
as it will help us keep our directories up to date and get stuff to you as
quickly as possible.
The Chapter Information Change Form is located at http://www.kkytbs.org/forms.html, along with many other
valuable downloads for both KKPsi & TBS.

ATTN:
District Governors/Counselors/Officers/Chapter Presidents...
Please ensure widest possible delivery to all chapters,
colonies & members in your respective districts!
The
idea of this electronic newsletter is to be able to quickly and efficiently
send out information to every individual member. Therefore, it is up to
the District Leaders to have someone responsible for forwarding on to the
chapters or Chapter Presidents in their district. Once the Chapter
Leaders have the newsletter, I would ask that you ensure every member of your
chapter receives it! Unfortunately, I regularly talk to chapters who have
not received any recent issues. Please help us to communicate to the
individual member!
All NewsNotes On-Line issues are available on-line at http://www.kkytbs.org/newsnotes.html.
Many
thanks,
