1. Want to Know what's Happening at National Convention?

The latest version of the 2003 National Convention Schedule is posted on the web site at: http://www.kkytbs.org/2003natconv.html#ConvSched. This schedule includes all events from the Summer National Council Meetings, District Leadership Conference, and the National Intercollegiate Band to all programmed activities throughout the National Convention itself. There may be a few minor changes between now and the first opening session, but this is fairly firm. Check it out!

2. Norfolk Waterside Marriott is Filling Up FAST!

If you have not made your hotel reservations for National Convention, I encourage you to do so quickly! I have already been in contact with the hotel about our room block, and we are already about 80% of our total room block. As of yesterday I was told we had approximately 50 rooms left during our peak nights of July 22-27.

If any chapter booked more rooms than you truly need, I request you call the hotel and release those rooms as soon as you can so that others might be able to obtain rooms at the convention hotel.

3. June 1st is the Deadline for Registration for 2003 National Convention

Just a reminder to everyone planning on attending the 2003 National Convention in Norfolk that the deadline to avoid late registration is coming up. Get your registration in by June 1st either by on-line registration at http://www.kkytbs.org/natconvregform.htm or call the National Headquarters and do it by phone! You may also mail in your registration form which is available on-line at that same website. June 1st is also your deadline for making your hotel room reservations, so don't delay!

Please ensure widest possible delivery to all chapters, colonies & members in your respective districts!
