1. Eta Theta Chapter of Tau
Beta Sigma Reactivated at Lincoln University
by Carole Hughes, Colony Advisor
It is with great honor that I
announce the re-installation of Eta Theta of
Lincoln University, chapter #176. The
installation occurred at 11:00AM Sunday, April
22, 2001 at the University of Missouri
Columbia campus in Memorial Union South 203.
It was a pleasure to welcome sisters and brothers
from the Alpha Iota Chapter at the University of
Minnesota (Justin Engelking MWD President
and Beth Jones MWD Secretary/Treasurer)
the Delta Xi Chapter at the University of
Missouri - Rolla (Adrienne Meng, Tommy Mills and
LeAnn Splitter) and the Zeta Delta Chapter at the
University of Kansas (Derrick Birdsell MWD
VPM and Janni Spring). It was also a pleasure to
have Midwest District Honorary Member Eloise
Hughes and Lincoln University Sponsor/Band
Director attend.
Congratulations to the women of Zeta Omega
Chapter at the University of Missouri
Columbia for their assistance, encouragement and
sisterhood while serving as advising chapter.
Special thanks go to Amber Bridgman and Ashley
Fontaine for an excellent job as colony committee
co-chairs.
It was a wonderful highpoint to serve as
installing officer after completing a five-month
colonization period as colony advisor. I commend
MWD Governor Ed Elsea, National VPCM Sylvia
Halbardier and National VPCR Kathy Godwin for
their guidance during this time.
Please join me in welcoming 11 new Sisters of Tau
Beta Sigma!
In the bonds of sisterhood,
Carole Hughes
