Theta Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi Reactivated
at the University of Louisville in Louisville,
Kentucky

Kappa
Kappa Psi Brothers, It was my distinct pleasure
and honor to be able to serve as the Installing
Officer this weekend as Kappa Kappa Psi
reactivated the Theta Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa
Psi, Chapter Number 199 at the University of
Louisville. The reinstallation took place on
Sunday, April 22 on the campus of the University
of Louisville. The advising chapter, Epsilon Xi,
from Miami University performed an excellent
Ritual of the Third Degree.
Attending
the Ritual and Ceremony were over 50 Brothers and
Alumni including the Theta Eta Chapter Sponsor,
Dr. Greg Byrne, Members of Epsilon Xi (Miami
University), Upsilon (University of Cincinnati),
Theta Epsilon (University of Kentucky), Iota Mu
(Kentucky State University), Theta Zeta (Ashland
University), Alpha Beta (Butler University), Eta,
(Ohio State University), Beta Rho (University of
Toledo), and Beta Psi (Kent State
University). Also present were Alumni from
Epsilon Xi, Theta Epsilon, and Sigma (Ohio
Northern University), Malinda Matney, advising
person and NCD Governor, current NCD Officers:
Rod Whiteman (President), Tucker Ranft (VP for
Colonization and Membership), Nick DelleCave (VP
for Programs) and past NCD Officers, Ryan
Akers(VPCM) and Scott Mackey (VPP). Sisters of
the Gamma Rho Chapter at Eastern Michigan
University, Eta Zeta at the University of
Kentucky, and Theta Psi at the University of
Louisville were also present at the Installation
Ceremony and reception that followed.

2. KAPPA TAU CHAPTER INSTALLED AT UNIVERSITY OF
SOUTH FLORIDA
The Kappa Tau chapter of KKPsi was
installed at the University of South Florida on
April 13. Seventeen new members were admitted to
the fraternity.
Further details will be posted as they become
available. Congratulations to this new chapter!

1.
We have a new jewelry contract and Burr,
Patterson, & Auld. Until they are geared up
to produce our jewelry inventory, the HQ
ishandling as many orders as we can fill with our
remaining inventory on hand. If you have jewelry
needs, please contact Debbie or Dixie at the HQs.

DEADLINES:
a.
Chapter Summary Report due to National HQs;
postmarked no later than June 1, 2001
b.
National Convention & Hotel Reservations; no
later than June 8, 2001 to qualify for convention
rate and avoid late registration fees.
c.
There are still a few openings available for the
2002 National Intercollegiate Marching Band tour
to the French Riviera next year. If you have
questions, please email the National HQs.
